Torres currently trains U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, FBI, intelligence, law enforcement, and other government personnel who deploy to Iraq and Afghanistan in Level I and Level II Combatives and Advanced Armed/Unarmed Combat (AA/UC) using the U.S. Army Combatives POI and programs developed by Torres.  All Torres instructors are Level III or IV qualified, black belts in Brazilian and/or U.S. Jiu Jitsu, and black belts in various additional martial arts.

Torres has trained approximately 1,260 U.S. military and civilian personnel since September 2008 throughout the United States and under Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF).  Torres’ instructional teams have earned accolades from the Senior Director of U.S. Army Combatives Training Program, Fort Benning, Georgia, and from the intelligence, security, and law enforcement agencies they support.  Torres is the only company authorized by U.S.A Jiu-Jitsu (USAJJ) to issue Blue Belts to U.S. personnel upon completion of the Level II Combatives Training course.  Torres will soon issue Black Belts to Level IV certified instructors.
