Torres provides foreign language and English as a Second language (ESL) training in Russian, Arabic, Pashto, Dari, Farsi, Spanish and numerous other languages and dialects under contracts with the U.S. Department of State (DoS), Department of Justice (DoJ), the U.S. Army, and Joint Task Force at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Torres built and maintains a pro bono training and conference facility in Baghdad, Iraq, with the sole purpose of providing vocational and Arabic (including all dialects) language and ESL training to Iraqi women and other vulnerable populations affected by Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). Further, Torres provides refresher foreign language training for Defense Language Institute (DLI) graduates at the George C. Marshall Center for Security Studies Partner Language Training Center in Europe. Under this program, our instructors conduct language immersion and refresher courses and administer language skill acquisition examinations in each of the languages trained. Our instructors also conduct thorough needs assessment analyses and employ rigorous training quality management programs to ensure that students achieve the language skills needed to meet their respective mission requirements.
